Question # 1 What is my opinion about the 30 – 40 day water fasts and the idea of eating one meal per week.

Because those are some deep waters I would like to once again make clear that I am not a medical advisor, nor doctor and I do not pretend to be one. If you are interested in getting medical help, please search for specialist. Since we made this clear lets start.

Even though I am all about eating as rarely as possible, I do not believe eliminating food for an entire month or a week is necessary for healthy individuals. I think it can be done, but it also it hides many potential risks.

So, in order to avoid any of its downsides you should do your homework first. You should also make sure you have pretty solid amount of experience with other fasting protocols.

If I had to decide, I would not choose any of them options. I train very frequently and during my days I am also engaged in variety of different activities that require optimal brain performance.
Because of those two, ultimately I need to ingest nutrients here and there during the corse of the week. My brain needs the fats and my muscles need the raw material for recovery and growth. That means I have to eat. I know all of the people with same or similar schedules can relate to this.

No, I don’t think, eating more than once a day is necessary. In fact as I am writing this I alternate between having five and six meals per week. I no longer eat every day.

Now I often enjoy long walks in the local park near where I live. I do them almost before bed time.
When I get home, I really do not feel like cooking and eating. So I go straight to bed and have amazing sleep.

The monthly and weekly water fasts are definitely not the things I would recommend to any of my clients or subscribers. I also think they are terrible for building muscle and bodybuilding in general.

In my humble opinion you should firstly do a huge research, If you really want to implement them.
Bellow I am giving you are few links that will help you find the needed information: 1, 2, 3

As a safe an healthier alternative, I would personally recommend you to go on 5 to 6 meals per week, but this is just how I see things.

Question # 2 Gains on Keto OMAD ?

To be bloody honest with you that is the combination that allowed me made my best gains.
In fact it completely rearranged my physique. Because of the longer fasts I am able to keep my waist as small as possible. On the other hand there are some massive improvements in my overall symmetry.

As long as for the power. I consider myself as non competitive bodybuilder, not a power lifter.
I am really not concerned about the weights I use. I stick with light to moderate weight, but I do a lot of volume. I am a volume type of a guy. I do around 30 to 40 sets per body part.

Most of the time I hit the gym twice a day. It all started when I applied the OMAD to my keto diet.
Now a days I do not eat every day, but I cycle ketosis with a paleo diet.

Before implementing it I was constantly puffy and bloated. I was a very strict follower of the typical bodybuilding diet and I had not definition and my gains really sucked.

True to be told the OMAD KETO combo allowed me to improve not only my physique, but every other aspect of my life and personality.

I hope that makes sense.
